What are the obligations of the seller / landlord regarding the Certificate of Energy Efficiency in Buildings?
The seller / landlord must show the energy label for promoting sale / lease of the property (eg next to the property description in the window of an estate).
If sold, the seller must provide the buyer at the original Energy performance Certificate EPC notice.
If renting, you must attach a photocopy of Energy performance Certificate EPC to the lease.
